Miss Samantha BA hons, RTS, RAD PDPTC  LISTD

Samantha was undeniably born to dance! All things pink and fluffy aside, a resolute 2.5 yr old made certain she would become a professional and fill her life with the incredible word of dance forevermore. Samantha is a ballerina, but she loves contemporary dance too and will frankly try everything from the HAKA to a body pop!

It is hard to summarise such as vastly rich background of dance, teaching & creative experiences, however Samantha’s training with some of the world’s best teachers from The Royal Ballet School, English National Ballet School & Ballet Rambert to name a few, helped her appreciate that your teachers are truly invaluable and will be forever grateful to her original ballet teacher, Mr Edward Burry for his devoted tuition and belief that passion never dies.

Samantha completes the majority of her Continued Professional Development with the Royal Ballet School Covent Garden and at the Royal Academy of Dance Global Headquarters (just around the corner from Inspire!).

Truly in her element when on stage, Samantha has various claims to fame with her experiences ranging from performing with BRB for Royalty and the very founder of the Royal Ballet herself, Dame Ninette de Valois and dancing with the current Director of the Royal Ballet School, Kevin O’Hare, through to opening Beyonce’s ‘Miss Carter’ show at the O2 for 20,000 screaming fans per night. Samantha’s inextinguishable desire to perform means she still dabbles with freelance performing as and when she can around running Inspire Ballet & Dance and being a mummy to two young children!

Experiencing several severe injuries over the years, Samantha chose to learn from these and infuse her career in such a way that she could offer a very rounded and reflective insight on how to dance. With over a decade of ballet teaching and choreography under her belt, Samantha is equipped with an Upper-First BA Hons degree in Dance which introduced her to her fascination with dance medicine and science. She also holds a rarely come by, level 8 Professional Dancers Postgraduate Teaching Qualification from the Royal Academy of Dance, is trained in RAD, ISTD, Ceccetti & Contemporary dance and has a background offering outreach work with ENB Education. She has created and pioneered Ballet Education Tours for the Royal Albert Hall and worked for the Healthier Dancer program at Dance UK.

With a rife imagination, natural affinity with children and skill for making props, costumes and scenery, Samantha launched her highly successful Inspire Ballet Parties in 2000 which soon led to full scale Holiday Dance Workshops.

Bursting with enthusiasm and drive to truly inspire everyone to love dance and have an opportunity to join in; Samantha launched her school Inspire Ballet & Dance, London in January 2016 to help her give everything she has to give and more.

That was just the beginning!
